Asia Fund X (AFX) is an opportunity fund in the face of challenges and transformations.

MSW Ventures help AFX evaluate potential investments based on their sustainability and long-term success, looking beyond traditional performance metrics to gain an understanding of their business model and exit potential. We seek out promising startups in the digital economies of Southeast Asia, particularly in Data Tech, Enterprise Tech, Sustainability, and Food & AgriTech with established product-market fit and experienced founders.

In recent years, we have witnessed the emergence of transformative and disruptive technologies in response to significant changes in our world. The pandemic, for instance, has accelerated the adoption of remote work, digitalization, and contactless transactions, leading industries to swiftly adapt to the new normal. While some consider these challenges, I view them as boundless opportunities — a constant reminder to think ahead and future-proof.

Drawing inspiration from our Southeast Asian foreparents who have redefined what it means to be an entrepreneur, the essence of MSW Ventures is birthed — a company resilient in the face of adversity (mettle), with unabashed honesty and directness (salt), and a commitment to creating long-term value for stakeholders (wealth). Our vision is simple: to be a guiding beacon for promising tech startups and to guide them to create real value for society.
